Saturday/Sunday

We've had such a nice 4 day weekend...  it's sad to say it's over soon, but it was nice, productive, we got some family time in, and just 'us 4' time in too.  And we weren't completely sick of each other by tonight!  :)

Saturday we headed down to St. Joe, MO to visit Aunt Maagie for Thanksgiving, and Christmas.  The trip down wasn't too bad...  Cora did sleep for us, so that was HUGE!  Kayson watched a movie, and soon was yawning like crazy!  ha.  But it was a nice drive down.  We had lunch (where neither of our kids ate - boo hiss), then went to Aunt Maagie's place.  It's a small place, but we always make it work.  The weather was absolutely gorgeous for November 30...  so we let the kids play a little outside - which consisted of chasing each other and tackling.  ha.  They did pretty darn good.  We all got some Christmas gifts and then just hung out!

We headed back north late afternoon... and made a stop at Grandma Janis'.  We haven't seen her since Papa's funeral, so it was nice to visit with her for an hour so.  The kids love the farm - and all the farm toys, so it was a nice stop.  We were back on the road late - 8ish.  Cora was laying down at Grandma's rubbing her eyes, etc... so we assumed she was sleep on the way home.  Nope!  She fussed and then would be quiet... then more fussing.

They both slept pretty darn good once we got home and settled, so that was nice.  Cora has been doing a little better...  not up at 4:20...  she's skipping that - now just doing like 5:30.  Which really isn't ideal (cuz that's when we should be getting up/ready for work).  So we'll see how tomorrow morning goes!!

Anyway, I forgot my camera on the trip to St. Joe.  So I have a few random ones from my phone which are terrible.  Martina got a family shot of all us though... I'll get that and post it.

Here's to a FAST full week!
K got a scarf and a TMNT Dream Lite.  So cute.
Kayson making his Christmas list - he did SO awesome!!
Cora got some jewels - beads and bracelets.
A few of us played Rumikub.  I hadn't played in years, but it was fun - brought back memories from my family!
