Celebrating Papa Paul - Turning 80!

Dad turns 80 on Sept 2...  that's a busy weekend, so we were all able to get together this weekend on Saturday afternoon. We met up at Hickory Park for a late lunch and had a great time.

Cora - 1st Day of 4th Grade

Cora is moving on up at Maple Grove!  I can't believe she's in 4th grade!!  It's just amazing how time flies!!

Her 4th Grade teacher is Ms. DeMarco... she seems super sweet, and young!  Cora is also with her friend Zoe, which is fun!!

Kayson - 1st Day of 8th Grade

Summer is over, and Kayson is moving onto Timberline school, as an 8th grader.

Last day of Summer! Goat Cuddling!

Monday, August 22 was the last day of summer.  I can't believe it!!

Kayson started the day by golfing with Matt.  That's become a new favorite, and I'm glad he enjoys it!

Cora and I just hung out at home.  I took the day off, and we just spent time together.

In the afternoon, I got tickets to go 'baby goat cuddling'!  YES!  I couldn't wait...  it was a great little couple hours with just me and the kids, and they had fun.  And those goats were so adorable!!

Cora's 10th birthday!

August 20!!

DOUBLE DIGITS for Cora May!

I can't believe 10 years has passed, I mean where has the time gone?

Cora is changing... growing up... but still shows signs of not at the same time!  She's determined.  She's chatty.  She's sensitive.  She's bossy.  She's all the things wrapped up in her cute little self.

Here's to an amazing year as a 10 year old!

It's the end of Summer!!

This summer has been great... honestly.  We've had a great summer...  the kids have been great, have kept busy and we've all gotten along!
Here is the last of the summer pictures!  The kids don't want to go back... and I don't want them to go back either!

Caught this fish at our neighborhood pond!

CESOD does the Iowa State Fair!

Cora participated in the ISF performance again this year.  She was hesitant and acted like she didn't want to do it... but of course, in the end, she enjoyed it so much!

After they danced, we did walk around the fair for a couple hours with the Adams.  It's definitely not my favorite thing to do, but we did it.
