a busy week finally came to an end! I actually had Thursday off to do a ton of appointments - pretty much started at normal time, and ended at normal time! Oil change, vet for Boomer, lunch with a friend, hair, returns, and groceries. Wow - it was good, but man it went by fast and I was pooped.
Friday night was the Waukee Dance Team Spring Show!! This was Brittlyn's last performance with the Waukee Dance team (pretty special) AND Miss Cora May got to dance as well. She attended their 'camp' the weekend before, and they got to perform their 45 second routine. It always seems silly that they only do that much, but it's just for fun and it's adorable.
It was a good night... lots of family ended up coming so that was really good for Brittlyn. Was just a nice evening.
Saturday:
LAST BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT!!
We played at 8am and 9:50... unfortunately, both losses - but then we were done for the day, which was great!
We had lunch with Mike and JeanAnn, and then I was able to get some things done and also just enjoy the beautiful day. We went for walks, we just were nonstop really!
Sunday:
We were able to sleep in a little... well, the kids were, I was up with Boomer! Stinker needs to sleep in! Anyway, we were back off to basketball - finally got 2 wins in to finish up the season. Kayson did well, and all the boys did... was fun to watch and glad it's all done!! however, we did meet some amazing families and kiddos, so that's always a blessing. There are good people out there!
Once we were done there, we grabbed lunch with a few other families... (our Aces families!). Then the boys had baseball practice early, and outside since the weather was decent. Cora and I went up to the park too (brought Boomer to wear him out!), and about every other family was there too - so that was fun to see some of the Aces families again... here we go baseball!! :)
We did more this and that, got groceries and got ready for the week. Non stop!
