Weekend - Baseball Tournament & Dance Recital

Friday:
Kayson had baseball practice... beautiful night for it.  Cora and I just hung out... did an errand and that was about it.

Saturday:
Baseball - close to home, which was super nice.  8 am and 10 am games.  We went 1/1 for Saturday morning.  Cora and I left a little early to get home and ready for the recital.

Mike, JeanAnn, Ryan and Kayson were able to get to the recital just on time... which was nice.  I was glad Ryan was able to be there, K too.  I know it's not a really a 'guy' thing, but I think they enjoyed it.  I mean, Kayson was a little sleepy, but that's ok!!  ha.

Saturday afternoon, after the recital, we just hung out.  We were all pooped... pretty quiet around the house.  We ended up meeting up with Hummel's for supper, nice unexpected invite.  And it went well - I worry about how Cora is going to be after a busy day like that...  and her and Eleanor sometimes butt heads!!  BUT it was pretty good...  they got a little squirrely, but it was just time to go by then.

Sunday:
More baseball...  and it was Ryan and mine's wedding anniversary - 12 years!!  We celebrated at no other place we'd rather be - at a baseball tournament watching our favorite son!  :)  It was a great day...  2 wins for us, and some amazing baseball being played!  Kayson did great - had some more great hits.  Super fun.  Then we got to the championship game...  and unfortunately, the other team was attempting to use a pitcher they shouldn't have been (he was at his pitch count/limit the last game), which is against the rules.  So...  after lots of rule talking, the other team had to forfeit and we won.  So we won the silver bracket.  Nice win, but also kind of weird too.

We head home for a bit... Cora and I did an errand, then we went BACK to the fields to watch Duke play for a bit.  Then we grabbed supper out... and home.  We were SOOOO TIRED.  Oh my gosh.

What a weekend.
12 years right here.  :)
