Weekend

Friday:
Kayson had a baseball game...  and the whole team did great.  I wrote about that earlier.

Saturday:
Up and out the door by 8:30 to get to Sioux City.  Once we were there - the kids were off and busy and playing and screaming and everything.  The weather was beautiful - a nice breeze, sun was warm... it was great.  So we were outside all day.  We did make the girls take a rest, so that was helpful!

We celebrated Landry's 2nd birthday!!  I can't believe that little girl is 2 already.  Two years have flown by!!  She was spoiled with gifts...  and then we just moved on to more playing!   The boys (Ryan, Kayson, Blair, Tate, Tim and Marc) headed to a Sioux City baseball game Saturday night.  I'm so glad they went, because I think they had fun.  Ryan sent me a few pictures of their night, which I LOVE!!!

Sunday:
Up early, unfortunately...  and just hung out.  We got cleaned up and headed out the door about 11:30.  We were all tired.  A few minutes before we were leaving, Tricia called...  more bad news with Mom.  She had had a really bad night (actually hadn't been asleep for a couple days now).  Dad was upset and the whole thing is just coming to a crash.  I just sat there and listened to Trish, and cried.  This is breaking us all.  Trish said that Dad has given Trish the 'ok' to call Public Health to see what we can do from that standpoint...  still a very long process and who knows how this will go.  More to come...

Anyway, we got on the road... and the kiddos took a little rest, so that was nice.  Home around 3:00...  Ryan took a rest, kids had quiet time on electronics, and I was non-stop - groceries, laundry and cleaning up.  Grr.  I want a break.

Anyway, it was a nice weekend... just always tiring.  We have one more weekend coming up of non-stop stuff... then we'll have a one weekend break.  Pics below!

The 'boa' that I got Landry!  ha.
