Last week was Waukee's homecoming week - all the dress up days, big football game that we lost!, gatherings and the homecoming dance.
Cora had a good week... We attended the homecoming parade on Thursday night -- and lucky girl - Cora got to go to the FB game with her new friend Lauren. I was hesitant, but they went and had fun.
Moving on to Kayson - he had a good week too! Most importantly, he and some of his buddies went to the homecoming dance. Now - about 2 months ago, the boys wrinkled up their noses at going to the dance... so us moms compromised -- go to the dance for a bit (experience it), then head to Top Golf! We figured that was a win-win!
The day came - we had a few kids here at the house for pictures then they were off.
Dance for about 30 minutes - then headed to TopGolf. And based on pictures and all the talk - they had a blast and "should have stayed at the dance the whole time!!" WHAT!? So funny. Well, now we know!! Regardless, they went and had a great night!
