For months, Cora has been sleeping in the basement bedroom. She didn't like her room when it was windy or raining... so one night she slept down there, and she hasn't looked back!
We've slowly been talking about moving her permanently down there, but it took a while for her to be a solid 'yes'. Then about 3 weeks ago - it was a yes, and she started picking out 'new' stuff. We honestly didn't go overboard - just new bedding really. We kept the full size bed down there for her (my mattress from probably 25 years ago!!). So we got some new bedding and some fun pillows to add color.
We got the dressers switched up - the closets switched up - it was good. And it's so cute.
We aren't completely done, but it's a start, and it's definitely a perfect room for her.
