It was a cold, wet weekend again... when will we catch a nice weekend?!
Aces played in Ankeny Saturday - morning game and an afternoon game. We ended up just sticking around Ankeny all day - tough to just go back and forth to home. So... we did lunch in between games, and the kids played at an arcade... and we got cookies. ha. Unfortunately, the boys could not get a win on Saturday (or Sunday). Made for a long day.
Sunday, Mother's Day, we were back up in Ankeny - with a loss. So it was a short morning... then back home. I knew we would be so bored!!! We had nothing planned... but Cora and I went to the mall and looked around... we did a few things around the house... otherwise, that was about it.
Thankful God chose me to be these kids' mom. Yes, we have struggles, but for the most part - I'm dang lucky.
