Unexpected spending :(

We had a good week, and good weekend...  always busy. 

Thursday Ryan started having trouble with his truck... he was a long ways away, heading home from Decorah... and the transmission started acting up.  He was able to get home safely, and we got it into a dealership Friday.  Results - new transmission is needed.  SO SUCKS!!!  We are getting it fixed, and will drive that thing another year or so!!   So we needed another vehicle for him - I wasn't going to haul him all week!  ha.  

Saturday morning, Cora, Ryan and I headed to Clarion - we borrowed my Mom's red truck.  Man that brings back memories.  We had a nice visit with Dad - hung at the farm for a little bit, the weather was beautiful.  Cora walked around the farm, we took pictures.  We were also able to see Trish, Greg, Eden, Hope, Logan and Aylah, so that was fun.  It was a super quick trip, but thankful Dad keeps all those trucks!  

Saturday night, Cora had a birthday party to go to.  Kayson hung out at home with the neighbors. 

Sunday, Kayson was gone most of the day with his friend Matt, and Cora started dance back up!  DSM Dance Project is this week AND choreography week!  Big things are happening!  

Sunday night, our church was having a summer gathering - games, food, etc.  We obviously haven't been there in FOREVER, so we made the effort and got out there.  It was a warm, windy night - but the kids had fun... and we chatted with some of the folks!  It was good.
