1st grade is coming to an end already. Gosh wasn't she just in Pre-School?
Unfortunately, Ryan was on the road, so couldn't attend in person, but we were able to call him, so that was nice.
Cora started by reading her "All about" book - which she chose to research Red Pandas. And she did a great job, picked great pictures and told the basics of Red Pandas. Pretty cool.
Then her and K went out to the hallway. Miss Miller told us that Cora is doing great academically, as we expected (advanced in reading, catches on super quickly)... and as we expected - she's a talker! She's a friendly little girl... so she's the social butterfly in school (and class), but also tends to not know the boundaries on some things with friends. So, she just needs to work on that. Again, not shocking.
Another 'fault' I guess is that she's bossy, and struggles to 'share' and let others participate. They'll do some group projects, and she needs to work on not taking over. So... I guess a fault in 1st grade, but maybe not when she's 30!
Miss Miller loves her and knows Cora is a great kid. It was a good conference.
