The fun run was today... doing shifts for each grade. I worked from home so I could go watch both sis and K. Cora's run was first thing this morning... chilly, but the sun was out and was great. She cracks me up - runs so hard, and within the first lap she was laughing and saying her side hurt. So funny. But she did well - ran most of it with a few little friends. I'm sure she'll be crabby and tired by this afternoon!
Kayson's run was shortly after lunch... again, so fun to watch him and his friends. With the 5th graders, the teachers actually made them run the full 30 minutes... (Cora's group just did 5 laps which took about 15ish minutes).
Anyway, was fun watching Kayson. Kills me that this is his last year at Maple Grove. It's been a great school and is just bittersweet.
