Taylor Cousins

This week (starting Monday night), Martina and the kiddos came to visit, and stay with us.  Blair had a work conference here in DSM, so Martina decided to come and spend some time with us, and see some of their old friends from nearby as well.  

Monday night they arrived into town, we grabbed dinner out with Mike and JeanAnn and also Scott, Duke and Britt were able to join us for a bit.  Home, baths... and bed for my kiddos.  Tate and Landry (mostly Lanny) had a REAL hard time winding down and falling asleep.  We had to keep our kids on their normal routine, cuz we were still getting up and going to work/school all week!  

Tuesday, we worked/did school.  Martina and the kids visited a friend, then just hung out at the house, while Lanny took a nice nap.  Martina cooked a meal for us, which was great!  We just hung out Tuesday night...  kids played really well, super thankful that Ryan was home to keep the boys entertained!  The girls played really well together - lots of 'baby' time.  Such little mother hens those two.  :)  Bedtime went much better for the kiddos on Tuesday.  

Wednesday, Martina and kids headed out for the day - to visit some old friends and some of her family.  They were gone all day, and most of the evening as well.  So my little family had a fairly normal evening at home. 

And Thursday, another normal day, but Martina, Blair and kids headed back to Sioux City.  Even tho we technically didn't see a ton of them, we had a nice visit.  The kids did well, and my kids are still talking about them being here.  Which is sweet.  We'll be seeing a lot of them over the next few months with all our Taylor outings.  Tis the season for football, birthdays and other random stuff.
