The moment that so many dancers have been waiting for... especially those seniors at CESOD.
Sunday we had the famous recital - two shows - 1pm and 6:30pm. Yes, two shows. :) We were prepared! Cora did amazingly well... backstage the entire time with some helpers, which I always worry that she's getting 'wound' up, or just not eating enough... all the mom worries.
Her group dances all their 5 dances in the first show, so that was fun - JeanAnn, Ryan and my sister, Tricia joined us for the first show. Fun for them to be there, I know Trish enjoyed it. She's never been to a recital before! :)
Between shows, there was a little picnic for the dance families... which was super nice. We just hung out and regrouped for a couple hours. Cora looked tired, and didn't eat much (which is not a surprise), but she did well.
Niky joined me for the second show. Cora only danced in the production, so even Ryan headed home. It was fun being with Niky - I know she really enjoys this, and misses it so much!
The show ended about 10pm... so late, and we were SOOO tired. Cora did great, and enjoyed herself, and didn't 'melt' until we got home! ha. I'd call that a success.
Super proud of her, and all those dances. Such amazing talent!!!
