RIP William (Bill) Jo Taylor

Bill Taylor, Uncle of Ryan, passed away Thursday, November 7 at Mercy Medical Center in DSM surrounded by his family, he was 55. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just a short 2 weeks before...  experienced one round of chemo, and was in the hospital the following day... and never returned home.

Our hearts are hurting so badly.  Bill was an amazing person, Dad, husband and role model to thousands of people.  We are all in disbelief and just ache for him to be here... and ache for Joni, Colby and Jenna... and Grandma... and his brothers... and family, friends, community. 

We 'celebrated' his life Monday evening (which was amazing to see the turnout at a local bar), where everyone had a Coors Lite for him...  and then Tuesday we buried him.  An amazing and sad service at the community college in Creston (SWICC).  The gym was packed with hundreds of family, friends, and colleagues.  I don't even KNOW that many people.  Bill touched so many lives... always a helper, always the fun one. 

Life is not fair. 

Not only did Bill impact our lives...  but this is just a glimpse of the hundreds of others he touched as well.  I've never seen anything like it.
