Weekend

Friday:
After a super busy week... we just were glad it was Friday!  We had plans to meet some friends for a quick dinner, but unfortunately my friend wasn't feeling well - actually having some heart issues, so our evening was 'free'.   The kids wanted to swim... so we did that - with no sun!  Ugh!  Then we went to El Rodeo for a quick supper...  then home.  It was a nice evening. 

Saturday:
We did this and that in the morning...  I wanted to get more done, but the kids begged again to go swimming. So we did!  Definitely taking advantage of that pool!  We had a good time... a solid 3 hours there, with some sun on our shoulders and cheeks!  We got home and relaxed a little...  Cora actually took a little snooze, which was nice. 

Saturday evening we went out to the church and met up with some of the young couples from church along with Pastor Loren and his wife.  We just found some shade trees... played yard games... grilled out... and had a really good time.  

Once we were done there, we had mentioned that everyone could come over to our place for a fire pit night...  we got two families to join us, and we had a nice time.  The kids played in the dark outside... being super loud.  Oops.  But we just sat by the fire for an hour or so... and chatted.  It was nice.  

Late night tho. 

Sunday:
Church. 
and then Cora and I went shopping...  needed to get a few things for her birthday - mostly clothes, and she's done.  She needs NOTHING else.  ha.  She was pretty good for me.

Ryan took Kayson and Duke fishing to a near by pond, and they had a good time. They were gone for almost 3 hours!  So Cora and I just chilled at home... which was super nice.  

It was a good weekend... but I'm feeling the tired today!  I know the kids were sleepy too... 

Cora has learned to love the slides!
