I believe our only 'free' nights are now Wednesdays... maybe a Tuesday here and there. As last year with the start of baseball - this is when I realize that eating together at the dinner table is so important. But it just doesn't happen near as often as in the dead of winter! ha.
Friday:
Busy day... at work and school I think. The kids just seemed busy all week. I think they were ready for the weekend.
Friday night we were invited to a "get to know you"/"start of the season" baseball gathering at the coaches house. The boys got their pictures taken and the adults mingled... Ryan knows nearly all the men/Dad's... I knew only a few. I did chat some with a few of them... but I also like to sit back and listen to others too. ha. But overall, it was a nice couple hours... good food, and I think they will all be good company for the next 3 months of Spring baseball.
Following that... we headed home. Hudsen spent the night... for no real reason, just because. We are trying to do that more for Kayson. Anyway, they played PS4 for a while, but then lights were out at 10:30, and they were out!
Saturday:
Just fiddled around most of the morning... tons of laundry and just this and that. We took Hud home around 11... grabbed lunch out, did an errand... and the afternoon was pretty quiet. I took a little snooze, kids just hung out...
Saturday late afternoon we met up with Tricia and Greg and their crew... including Eden and her new boyfriend. It was a good little visit - ate supper and the kids did pretty well. And that was about it... since it was a super early supper, we were home around 6:40 and had a pretty quiet night too.
Sunday:
Church.
Baseball.
Errands - groceries/Target
Quiet.
