Weekend

Skipping back to Thursday...
it was a busy day... a good day.  My work is CRAZY busy right now, but I pretty much got caught up/felt good about things.  (I have planned to take Monday and Tuesday off).

Anyway... Kids had good days.  Kayson enjoyed STRIDE, Cora enjoyed dance - which was taught by Brittlyn Thursday, so that was super fun for her.

Then Thursday night about 11pm - things changed... Cora woke and she had puked all over her bed.  WHAT?!?!? So weird, so random. She had full color to her - no temp - but just looked like, "what the heck just happened!?!?"  Ryan and I were like that too... so weird.  Anyway, she went back to bed... slept through the night but woke at around 5:20 and puked again.  But this time she finished and started talking about how she didn't want to miss school.  ha.  Poor thing. 

Anyway... back to bed she went - and she finally woke around 9:10 Friday morning and seemed perfectly fine.  Again, had color - no temp - drank water - was being a little silly.  She watched shows and colored... just took it easy.  She took a little rest in the early afternoon... and did just kind of lay low and not seem 100%.  But she wasn't acting sick either, just not herself. 

Thinking it was just something that didn't agree with her Thursday night...? 

Friday:
So... I was home all day with sis.  I worked quite a bit, which was nice.  I got really caught up by the end of the day.  I was able to get laundry done which was good... got Cora's bed back together, and her room not smelling.  YUK!  So it was an ok day at home. 

Friday night we just stayed home... Ryan and Cora watched a movie...  pretty quiet night.  

Saturday:
Sis slept nearly 13 hours!!!  She woke and seemed ok... better.  By noon she definiately perked up, ate some food, and seemed MUCH better.  Back to her being pretty sassy, etc. 

I did some errands Saturday afternoon... in the rain!  Man it poured.  Then Saturday night Ryan and I went out with our church friends - 9 of us total (missing one wife).  We had such a nice time... dinner at The Range, then went for another drink at a nearby bar.  Such a good group of people.  Church family has created great friends. Very thankful for them.  

Sunday:
Church - which included our Thanksgiving Feast and it was so yummy!  The rest of our Sunday was pretty chill...  one errand, and the rest of the time at home where it was warm!  (Colder weather is arriving here!)

And Cora is back to 200% - naughty, mouthy and loud!

Friday's day at home...  quiet, playing, stuck in her room - just in case.

Our front tree gave us some leaves!!
