We had Kayson's Spring conference yesterday afternoon.
Mrs. VanMeter is back from her maternity leave... and I'm so glad. :)
The conference went well... like super well. Kayson started out with some of his goals, and then read through several items that he's worked on. One of them was working on persuasion writing, which was pretty funny. His writing was about getting another dog - a German Shepherd. So funny. Anyway, he did really well at reading his work to us...
Then he went out in the hall, and Mrs. VanMeter just opened the discussion up to Ryan and I. And we really didn't have any concerns... besides the same things (which aren't really concerns) -- he's a talker, social butterfly... and his math capabilities. Which are improving, which I know Ryan loves. :)
He's reading at a Level O.
So overall, he's doing well. Quick and painless conference. Last one for 2nd grade. Unbelievable.
