Grandparents Day at Church

Today we celebrated Grandparents Day at church.  Ryan's parents were able to join us.  I asked my Dad to join, and he was going to make the trip, until yesterday. He called and said it just wasn't going to work out...  there wasn't anyone to stay with Mom.  I understand that... and I know he can't leave her for that long, I get it.  But not going to lie - it's very frustrating that he's missing out on all of Kayson and Cora's stuff.  Just literally breaks my heart, and makes me mad too.  Ugh. 

Anyway, I need to be (and am) thankful that Ryan's folks could be here, and be the grandparents for our kiddos.
