Friday morning we slept in a little... got cleaned up and did a few errands. One thing on our list was nailing down the flooring for the basement. So, that's done - it went well, and we agreed! ha. We chose the floor for the wet bar/desk area, and the main living/bedroom, and then also the bathroom. We also nailed down the glass backsplash for the wet bar area too. It's so cool and I'm so excited to see the finished look.
We did a few more errands, had lunch... then back to the house. Cora took a rest, then Jill and her family showed up. We instantly were outside... and a game of kickball started. Thank goodness for my nieces and nephew to play with Kayson! They had such a blast... and were hot and sweaty too. So funny. Trish's family showed up shortly later... and more outside, fun time. We were outside all day, it was great - it was a beautiful day.
We had a cookout, food was great... then we even had a little fire pit, which the kiddos enjoyed. Overall, it was a really fun day. I'm very thankful they were all able to come and spend the day with us.
