On my own...

This week I am on my own with Kayson... Ryan is travelling this week - he's in a little town called Holdrege, Nebraska - some 4 hours away at least. He seems to be millions of miles away to me! Travelling --- it's hard, especially now that we have Kayson. It was hard before - just b/c I missed him so much... and now that Kayson is here - we BOTH miss him.

I feel awful for Ryan - being gone... Even though Kayson isn't doing a lot of 'tricks', he's still growing and learning so much from us every day --- and those smiles - how can anyone resist that crooked smile!!! Ryan misses Kayson so much -- he's such an amazing Daddy. We purchased a webcam to help us out this week --- or maybe it'll make us miss each other even more.

I was nervous this morning - having to get myself & Kayson ready for daycare. Daddy does such a great job without me! But we did pretty good -- we were only off my about 15 minutes, not too shabby! I'm sure by the end of the week I'll be exhausted! (I pretty much am right now!) :)

Let's try this...

I'm going to try this blog thing --- it's not like I have a lot of time on my hands now - but hey - what the heck!!! Let's give it a shot! :) I've seen several of my close friends try this out and I've been very intrigued by what they have to say!! Maybe you folks will be as intrigued! or not! :)

I figure (when Ryan & I have time) we will post some thoughts and stories about our life now that our precious little boy, Kayson, is here with us. Oh the joys of being parents now!! I absolutely love it - every second. It may be tiring and confusing at times - but all so worth it!! We are truly blessed!

Like I said - we will do our best to add when we can... This is going to be fun!!
